Scholarships Available for Wisconsin Lakes and Rivers Convention
Walworth County Lakes Association offers scholarships to help defray the costs. This is an especially good opportunity for those new to lake association or lake district leadership. Here is the procedure and application form. If you're interested, fill it out and return it. If you have questions, contact us at walworthlakes@gmail.com .
Plan to Attend the 2026 Wisconsin Lakes and Rivers Convention
Next year's Lakes and Rivers Convention is scheduled for April 15-17, 2026, at the Stevens Point Holiday Inn Convention Center. The Convention is 3 days of meetings and fellowships, breakout sessions and plenary sessions, sandwiches and banquets. Here's the link so you can see what it's about. Kreative Solutions Presentation
We're happy to post Kristina Czarnacki's presentation about marketing to your members. She shows several examples of what other lake associations have done and presents a roadmap. We're very glad she presented at our meeting and also answered so many questions!
October 18 Meeting at LaGrange
The final meeting of 2025 was held at the LaGrange Town Hall and featured Kristina Czarnecki discussing communications and marketing. Her presentation will be posted here soon. Kristina outlined a plan that any lake association could use to communicate via email and newsletters, plus strategies for websites.
