Whitewater Hosted August 17th Meeting; Demonstration by Aquarius Systems

Members and friends of Walworth County Lakes met at the Lions Clubhouse on Whitewater Lake for an informative presentation by Jane Dauffenbach of Aquarius Systems. Topics included what kind and size of aquatic plant harvesters are used in our lakes, the United States, and applications all over the worls.

Larry Brady, former Commissioner for Harvesting at Whitewater-Rice Lake District, discussed the permitting process.

Following the business meeting and presentations, the meeting adjourned to Rice Lake where one of WWRMD's medium-sized harvesters was demonstrated.
