October 17, 2026 - Lake Carrying Capacity

On Saturday, October 17, Hanna Helker from SEWRPC will present on Lake Carrying Capacity. This has been a challenge for all local lakes because of the increasing pressure from boaters of all kinds.

The meeting will be held at Waters Edge in Delavan, 1220 South Shore Drive. To get there from the east, take Highway 50 to North Shore Drive and turn left. It's about a block from the intersection. From the west, find Highway 50 and go east to North Shore Drive.

The business meeting begins at 9:00 am, followed by Hanna's presentation at 10:00 am. There will be a discussion of dates and topics for next year as well as coffee and refreshments.
