Quagga Mussels Found in Lake Geneva

to read a report from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel about quagga mussels being documented in Lake Geneva. Previously found in the Great Lakes, this is the first sighting in an inland lake.


Quagga mussels have been discovered in Geneva Lake, marking the first time they have been found in an inland lake in Wisconsin. The finding was reported on August 27, 2024, by the Journal Sentinel.
