Fish Cribs! Make a Great Home for Small Fish!

At the June 15th meeting of the WCLA, Jim Corcoran of Lauderdale Lakes Improvement Association, demonstrated a new desigh of fish cribs, a teepee method using pallets. This is quicker than the log cabin style.

Representatives from Turtle Lake, Ivanhoe, Pleasant Lake, Potters Lake, Lake Geneva, and Honey Lake attended the demonstration and participated in the construction of the new fish cribs.

At the end of the event, names from participating lakes were entered into a hat, and the winners of the fish cribs were Potters Lake and Turtle Lake. Corky generously offered to deliver the cribs if needed.

The WCLA extends its heartfelt gratitude to the LLIA for their support in making this interactive demonstration possible.
